Games Night Update

Games night will be held this Saturday, 6:00 to 9:00 PM, at the Episcopal Parish House, right across the street from Grainger.

We will have a big sign outside the house, you won't be able to miss it!

Games Night

This Saturday, starting at 6:00 going until about 9:00, we will be hosting a games night. The location is still undecided because of a set back, but we will be having it this weekend.

Hopefully it will be in on of the following locations: Episcopal Parish House, Baptist Collegiate Ministries, or the Wesley Foundation.

As soon as we find out which, I will update the location both here and facebook!

Praise and Worship

On tuesday we had our very first praise band interest meeting for the semester. We had between 2 to 4 people there, so it is encouraging that even with a little short notice a few people answered the call of the Lord to service. Praise be to God!

Council for Promoting Christian Unity

I received an email from Michael Landis at William & Mary College. Council will be having a unification event March 29th, 2009. This is the last Sunday of March, hopefully we can get a good sized group together and head up to WMC to show some support and worship with our brothers and sisters there. Please be in prayer about it!

We are really excited for this next semesters planning committee. Many of the members are either freshmen or sophomores, so it is very exciting that they will be around to see R4CU evolve and change to suit the campus's spiritual need.

New Leadership

The Fall 2008 semester is coming to a close here at Longwood University. It is 9:44 PM, Monday, November 17, 2008 and I would like to announce that a New President and Vice President have been elected to head R4CU as the old president and vice presidents will be graduating next semester.

I would like to pray for Matt and Dupree as they leave us; pray to God that they would be blessed and would continue to be able to do God's work wherever they go.

I also want to pray for a blessing and knowledge and wisdom of Tara and Cailin as they step into Matt and Dupree's shoes and carry the mantle of president and vice president. I am so happy that two great leaders were chosen by God for this task, I know that what God has decided will benefit R4CU, the campuses of Longwood and Hampden-Sydney, and the Kingdom of God.

Pray and rejoice, for Jesus is King, and He is Good!
